The Story
Santa Rosa by birth. Napa by trade. His own by choice.
Chris Sauer grew up in Santa Rosa, in the middle of Sonoma County. He started in the business working for a well-known limousine service in Napa, where he learned the trade — the roads, the producers, the rhythm of a day in wine country, and how to drive a guest smoothly and safely.
After years on someone else's roster, he went out on his own. Ten years in, Christo Limo is still one driver and one vehicle. You book Chris and Chris shows up — every time. He answers the phone himself and he drives every tour himself.
He is not a chauffeur in a black suit who waits in the parking lot. He is a guide. He explains the history of Sonoma, the horticulture, and why a given winery matters. As one guest put it: "It was like wine tasting with a local."
